The aurea form overlays the glossy green foliage with golden-yellow to lemon variegation in sectors and marbling, each leaf uniquely patterned. A climber that develops larger, more dramatically lobed leaves with vertical support. Variegation is unpredictable across successive leaves and slower-growing than the standard form. Light: Bright indirect light is essential for maintaining the golden variegation; too little light causes reversion to solid green. Avoid direct sun which scorches the lighter sectors. Soil: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir; excellent drainage essential. Never waterlogged. TemperatureHumidity: Warm temperatures between 65-82°F; humidity of 60-70% supports the best growth and cleanest leaf emergence. Avoid cold drafts below 60°F. Watering: Allow the top 1-2" of medium to dry between waterings; water thoroughly and drain completely. Never waterlog — variegated forms are more sensitive to root stress.
