Dischidia oiantha is a vining epiphytic species native to Southeast Asia, known for its smooth, glossy leaves and naturally trailing growth habit. The foliage ranges from soft green to deeper tones depending on light exposure, and the plant produces long, elegant vines that make it ideal for hanging baskets or mounted displays. Small, pale flowers may appear along the stems in warm, humid conditions, though the plant is primarily grown for its clean, ornamental foliage. Its adaptability and steady growth make it a favorite among collectors of Hoyas and related epiphytes.

Growing Conditions:

Grow Dischidia oiantha in bright, indirect light for compact growth and richer leaf color. It prefers a well‑draining epiphytic mix such as orchid bark, coco husk, perlite, and sphagnum. Water when the medium begins to dry, avoiding soggy soil. Maintain temperatures between 65–90°F with moderate to high humidity. The plant benefits from regular misting and good airflow. Fertilize lightly during active growth with a diluted balanced fertilizer. Avoid cold drafts and prolonged dryness, which can slow growth.

Ships in 3.5" pots. You will receive a plant similar to the ones pictured, though size and fullness may vary. A few broken leaves or small stems are normal during shipping and are not considered damage. Broken stems can be rooted once the cut end dries to start new growth. Plants may arrive semi‑dormant, and in winter they may naturally drop a few leaves. If your plant arrives rotting or dead, we will replace it. Please contact us with photo proof within 24 hours of delivery. After 24 hours, plant care becomes the buyer’s responsibility, though we’re always happy to answer questions and help you succeed. We also add brief instructions on getting started when you open your box. We want our plant babies to have happy new homes! 🥰

I won't refund or replace any frozen plants unless you buy one!
