Also known as Philodendron ‘Green Paradise’ (its name translates directly from Spanish).

A living swirl of green magic, Philodendron ‘Paraiso Verde’ unfurls long, rippling leaves marbled with shades of chartreuse, jade, and deep emerald. Each leaf has its own brushstroke pattern—some splashy and bold, others softly mottled. As it matures, the foliage becomes more elongated and beautifully textured, giving it an almost painted, watercolor effect that shifts with the light.

💡 Care Tips:

☀️ Light – Bright, indirect light enhances variegation; lower light will make leaves turn solid green.

💧 Water – Keep soil evenly moist but never soggy. This plant will be shipped to you in our homemade semi-hydro set up! (Sphagnum Moss, pumice, orchid bark & biochar for anti-compactionaeration, fungal mitigation above a LECA-clay balls- water reservoir). You can transition to whatever medium you like best, Chunky Aroid mix is a great option! Once transitioned- less is more! Allow the top 2-3 inches to dry between waterings.

🌡️ Humidity – Thrives at 60 %+ humidity but tolerates average indoor levels if not too dry. Use a humidifier or mist lightly during winter.

🌱 Growth – Climbing type that appreciates a moss pole or stake. Mature leaves can reach 10–14 inches long and develop more pronounced mottling as the plant climbs. Moderate to fast growth under ideal warmth and light.

🌟 Collector’s Tip

Paraiso Verde is a natural mutation that maintains its variegation through stable genetics rather than random chimeral streaks. However, variegation intensity can fade in low light, so a bright environment is key. Occasional fertilizer with calcium and magnesium helps sustain its vivid contrast and prevent fading.
