Monstera deliciosa ‘Compacta’ is a rare cultivated form of Monstera deliciosa

selected for its shorter internodes and naturally compact growth pattern,

resulting in a denser appearance as the plant matures. Fenestration develops

normally, but leaves emerge closer together along the stem compared to standard

forms. This batch comes directly from Kunzo Nishihata’s garden in Japan and

includes his original nursery tags, making it especially significant for

collectors. Despite its compact structure, ‘Compacta’ maintains a climbing habit

and benefits from a support pole. It grows best in bright, indirect light with

evenly moist, well-draining soil and warm, stable conditions.
