Alocasia ‘Black Velvet Ninja’ Albo Variegated is a rare variegated mutation of

Alocasia reginula distinguished by its rounder leaf shape and characteristic

white marginal edging, which set the Ninja form apart from standard Black

Velvet. The foliage is thick and matte with a deep green to near-black base,

accented by bright silver veins and clean white albo variegation expressed as

marbling, splashes, or irregular sectors. Under grow lights, the white

variegation can develop soft pink hues, adding an extra layer of color to the

leaves. This cultivar maintains a compact, upright growth habit and performs

best in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-draining soil and warm,

stable conditions.
