Product description

Anthurium Zamora Queen Anthurium marmoratum (form 2) × Anthurium warocqueanum A hybrid between two velvet species with complementary leaf characters. A. marmoratum contributes broad, dark green foliage with a slightly corrugated, ribbed texture; A. warocqueanum, the Queen Anthurium, brings its elongated, pendulous, deeply velvety leaves and prominent venation. The cross produces a leaf that reads like a wider, more substantial version of the Queen — dark green velvet surface with prominent venation, tempered by the broader shape and structural ribbing of the marmoratum parent. Individual seedling expression varies. Light: Bright but soft indirect light supports the best leaf development and protects the velvet surface from bleaching. Avoid direct sun. Soil: Open, breathable epiphytic mix of coarse orchid bark, perlite, and sphagnum, or 100% sphagnum moss; excellent drainage and aeration essential. Never waterlogged. TemperatureHumidity: Cool to warm temperatures between 60-80°F; high humidity of 70-80%+ is essential for the velvet surface quality and cleanest leaf emergence. Watering: Keep consistently but lightly moist — allow only the top inch to approach dryness between waterings. Never waterlog; never allow to dry out fully. Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer supplemented with calcium and magnesium every 4-6 weeks during active growth; dilute to half strength. Reduce in winter.
