Bucephalandra variegated ‘Marble’ is a rare and highly sought-after Bucephalandra cultivar prized for its dramatic marble-like variegation. Its small, gently wavy leaves display streaks and speckles of cream, pale green, and sometimes soft pink over a deep green base, creating a striking contrast that stands out beautifully in aquascapes. Slow-growing and compact—typically 2–4 inches (5–10 cm) tall—it’s ideal for foreground or midground accents in nano and nature-style aquariums.
This plant is low-maintenance and adaptable, thriving in low to medium light and a wide range of water parameters (pH 6.0–7.5, temperature 70–82 °F 21–28 °C). It does not need CO₂ injection, though additional CO₂ and steady fertilization enhance color and growth. As with all Bucephalandra, the rhizome must remain above the substrate—attach it to hardscape such as driftwood, lava rock, or decorative stones to avoid rot.
Over time, Bucephalandra ‘Marble’ forms elegant clumps and may produce delicate white flowers underwater. Its unique variegation and ease of care make it a standout centerpiece for aquascapers and collectors alike.
