Our plants are grown on to a bigger size, many times even to a mature plant! Humble Hen Farm & Nursery Size: 39" H x 68" W Common Name: Hosta Hosta 'Smokey Mountain Blues' A massive, smoky blue clump that instantly commands attention, this hosta makes a natural centerpiece for any shade bed. Its broad, powdery blue leaves form a dense, architectural mound that brings both structure and a cool, calming tone to the garden. In early to midsummer, tall scapes rise above the foliage, crowned with soft pale lavender flowers that add a graceful, airy contrast to the bold leaves below. Maturing to an impressive 39 inches tall and spreading up to 68 inches wide, it delivers true giant hosta presence while remaining elegant and cohesive in the landscape. During early spring plants may still be breaking dormancy so they may appear smaller than they will be when they fully leaf out. In Fall or Winter the plants may be dormant which means the may be losing or have completely lost their leaves. Shipping: We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska due to cost and import restrictions. Plants will be removed from their pots and loose soil removed and the rootball placed in a bag. We are an inspected nursery from the VA Dept of AG.
