BLOOMING! 🤩🌼🥂 The Black Pagoda Lipstick💄🌱 (Aeschynanthus longicaulis) is a tropical vine prized for its unique foliage and striking tubular flowers. A native of Southeast Asia, it is an epiphytic plant, meaning it grows on other trees, that thrives in hanging baskets, Kokedamas, or shelves where its vines can trail.

The dark, glossy leaves are the main attraction 😍 They have intricate, mottled patterns of deep green, purple, and sometimes silver. The undersides of the leaves are a striking purple. The plant produces tubular flowers that emerge from a dark calyx, resembling a tube of lipstick 🌼 Unlike the standard lipstick plant, 'Black Pagoda' flowers are yellow and orange, not red.

Kokedama Care 🧶 Kokedama is like turning plants into living sculptures! It’s a style of Japanese bonsai that means “moss ball" which involves encasing a plant’s root system in sphagnum moss to create a ball, which makes an elegant, natural, versatile garden arrangement when hung!

☀️💧Water once per week by soaking the moss ball in room temperature water for 20 minutes, then gently squeeze out excess water before placing it back. Ensure the plant receives bright, indirect sunlight, and fertilize it monthly with a liquid indoor plant fertilizer during spring and summer. Prune dead leaves to encourage healthy plant growth
