When it grows on a surface, its leaves lay flat and close together, a habit known as "shingling".


The stems are woody and release a white latex when cut ✂️ Pruning: cutting back stems and pinching off growth tips stimulates new shoots to emerge further down the stem, leading to a denser, fuller appearance
