Help your carnivorous plants thrive with these specialty fertilizers. In each of these kits, there's ~3-5 months of fertilizer included for your carnivorous plants. This kit can be used on all carnivorous plants (note: the Osmocote 14-14-14 is only for Nepenthes pitchers) twice a month. These are the only fertilizers that we and many others in the community deem safe for carnivorous plants as many others will kill your plants. The only plants we would recommend against using this fertilizer on are mature Sarracenia. Sarracenia seedlings can benefit from fertilizer, but as they age the fertilizer can actually cause the plant to slow based on some studies and findings. MaxSea 16-16-16 Mix ¼ Teaspoon into 1 gallon of water and spray as a mist on the leaves and inside pitchers. Fertilize only in the evening hours, after sunset. This can be done twice a month. Osmocote 14-14-14 Put 1-2 pellets into pitchers after they have first opened. This can be done anytime (regardless of time in the day).
