Palmstreet Official
At Palmstreet, the health and safety of animals - and the trust of our community - are our top priorities. We know our community sometimes raises questions about how we vet sellers and respond to reports of misconduct, and we want to take a moment to clarify our process.
Every seller on Palmstreet must meet strict guidelines before they can list animals for sale. These guidelines cover animal care, shipping practices, and compliance with applicable regulations. You can read more about our Reptile Policies and Ethics for full details. You can also see a list of which animals are currently approved for sale on Exotic Animals on Palmstreet.
We rely on our community to help us maintain high standards. When we receive a report, our team reviews it carefully and investigates. If the report is substantiated, we take decisive action based on the severity of the infraction - up to and including banning sellers from the platform.
* Please note that we can only address confirmed issues and actions that take place on Palmstreet.
We also monitor shipping practices closely. Sellers must follow strict requirements for packaging and carrier selection to ensure animals arrive safely. For more, see our Shipping Issues FAQ.
We want to be clear: we do not remove sellers solely based on reports alone. Investigations are essential to protect both buyers and sellers from misuse of the reporting process. Our goal is to ensure fairness, accountability, and above all, animal welfare.
We are committed to transparency. While we don’t announce every individual seller ban, we do respond when there are community-wide concerns. Palmstreet is, and always will be, a community-driven platform. We appreciate your trust, and we’ll continue working to uphold the highest standards of ethical, responsible, and safe animal sales.
