Product description

This miniature epiphytic orchid from Indian Ocean island forests produces striking white, star-shaped flowers that appear remarkably large against its tiny stature. An excellent choice for a carefully maintained miniature orchid collection. Light: Moderate, filtered light near a shaded east-facing window. Protect from strong direct sunlight. Temperature: Intermediate to warm-growing; 65–82°F (18–28°C), with slightly cooler nights. Humidity: 70–85%, with consistent gentle air circulation. Watering: Water frequently to keep roots lightly moist, allowing them to approach dryness between waterings without remaining dry for extended periods. Mounted plants require more frequent watering; use low-mineral water and avoid stagnant moisture around the crown. Additional Notes: Short, thick leaves have a deeply textured surface and form a compact fan. Mounting on cork with a thin layer of sphagnum accommodates its small size while keeping the roots well aerated.
