Product description

Hoya GPS-7240 is a fascinating collector's plant that quickly becomes a conversation piece thanks to its unusual foliage. This rooted cutting with new growth arrives in a 2-inch pot, ready to establish and climb. One of its most distinctive features is its grape-like leaves, which become even more eye-catching when grown under bright light and allowed to develop sunstress. It's an excellent choice for growers who appreciate uncommon leaf shapes and enjoy watching subtle color changes as their plants mature. Hoya GPS-7240 Rooted Cutting Care & Details Origin: It carries collector Gerard Paul Shirley’s accession number, but its exact origins are unknown. Leaves: Thick, succulent leaves resemble small grapes, giving this Hoya an unusually textured appearance. Under bright growing conditions, the foliage develops attractive sunstress coloration that enhances its unique look. Flowers: Mature plants can produce clusters of small, reflexed, salmon-orange flowers with contrasting lighter centers. Their warm coloring looks especially striking beside the plant’s dark foliage. Growth Rate: Moderate grower once well established. Watering: Allow the potting mix to dry partially between waterings. Hoyas prefer to dry slightly rather than remain constantly wet. Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. For compact growth and the best leaf color, mine grows about 8 inches below double Barrina T5 lights for approximately 14 hours per day. Temperature & Humidity: Thrives around 80–85°F with 70–75% humidity. General Hoya Care: Learn more about watering, lighting, humidity, and long-term care in my complete Hoya care guide: https:hoyatreasures.compagescaring-for-hoya Why Customers Love It Collectors love Hoya GPS-7240 for its remarkably grape-like leaves, impressive sunstress coloration, and distinctive appearance that stands out from more common Hoyas. It's an unusual plant that's rewarding to grow and always sparks curiosity.
