Product description

*will ship bareroot* For the best success, upon arrival, acclimate these Nepenthes to your humidity by putting them in an airtight bag and slowly opening it over the course of a week. Generally, Nepenthes need 50% humidity but thrive at 70-80%.

Water with clean water ONLY, so rainwater or distilled.

Nepenthes are not bog plants, so they don't have to constantly sit in water like a Venus Flytrap. They do like to stay moderately moist, and I wouldn't let it dry out for too long, as it will cause the pitchers to blacken and die off.

These plants do not need fertilization since they eat bugs, but you can also fertilize by foliar spraying (1 use diluted Maxsea) and by adding nutrients to the pitchers, such as fertilizer or dried mealworms, once a month.

Bright indirect sunlight is best; too much sun can burn the leaves. When the pitchers mature, fill them 50% with water to prevent drying out.
