Beautiful pair of hand blown Murano glass duck figurines attributed to Cenedese. Each features an elegant elongated form with aqua blue accents, shimmering gold fleck throughout the body, and applied clear glass beaks, wings and feet.
The attribution is based on comparison with closely related examples, including reported examples retaining Cenedese labels. Similar forms have also been associated with glassmaster Ermanno Nason, who worked at Cenedese. Neither figure in this pair retains a maker's label, so the attribution cannot be independently confirmed.
Measurements:
Large duck measures approximately 7.75" tall.
Small duck measures approximately 6.5" tall.
One retains an old handwritten inventory sticker on the underside.
