The Purple Pinktoe is a New World species. They can get up to 5” dls. This is an arboreal species. Males can live up to 3 years and females can live up to 12 years.
The Purple Pinktoe is known for its beautiful purple coloring. This is not a good beginner species. They require a good amount of cross ventilation, need higher humidity, and can be fast and flight. Purple Pinktoes can kick hairs and launch excrement up to 3 feet as a defense mechanism.
This is currently 1” dls and eating xs mealworms and small crickets.
