My general rule of thumb is is "Under 50º, don't be thrifty" ... so I do suggest if it's under 50º at any point in your plant's journey, add insulation.
Do note, packages are picked up out of our heated and air conditioned offices in Oklahoma, they do not go in overnight drop boxes of any sort. Once they leave my facilities though, it's in the Lord's hands .
