The stiff, deep green leaves have a distinctive sculptural, ribbed quality and a coppery to bronze flush on the undersides. A self-heading terrestrial or epiphyte that does not climb and requires no support, forming a striking architectural specimen. Light: Bright to medium indirect light; more adaptable and sun-tolerant than velvet anthuriums, though it benefits from protection against direct harsh midday sun. Soil: Rich, well-draining aroid mix of orchid bark, coco coir, and perlite in a wide pot that accommodates the spreading rosette; never waterlogged. TemperatureHumidity: Warm temperatures between 60-80°F; humidity above 50-60% supports the best growth, though it tolerates average household conditions well.
