Philodendron Patriciae A rare hemiepiphytic climber from the Chocó rainforests of Colombia, named for Colombian botanist Patricia Velásquez. It produces remarkably long, narrow, pendulous leaves with a subtly quilted, rippled surface that hang gracefully from an appressed-climbing stem, developing their most dramatic elongated form as the plant matures on a support. Requires consistently high humidity to thrive. A tall moss pole is essential to achieve the fullest leaf expression. Light: Bright indirect light supports the fullest pendant leaf size; avoid direct harsh sun which scorches the foliage. Soil: Very open, chunky aroid mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir with excellent drainage and aeration; dense or compacted media is detrimental. Never waterlogged. TemperatureHumidity: Warm temperatures between 65-80°F; high humidity of 75%+ is essential — one of the more humidity-demanding philodendrons, with leaf quality declining noticeably in dry air. Watering: Water when the top inch of medium approaches dryness; keep consistently moist but never soggy. Never waterlog. Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4 weeks during active growth; supplement with calcium and magnesium for best leaf quality. Reduce in winter.

I would have liked an actually picture of the plant but I knew what to expect trying to get one of these pallidiflorums. Absolutely beautiful and fast shipping. First time ordering from this shop

So glad you made it to PS!! I bought some beautiful plants from you on Etsy a couple years ago, they’re all thriving!
