It is generally considered part of the finlaysoniicallistophylla complex and remains scientifically unresolved. Leaves: Features large, oval to ovate leaves with striking dark green venation that contrasts beautifully against the leaf surface. The foliage is glossy, thick, and highly ornamental, making it one of the most sought-after foliage Hoyas among collectors. In brighter conditions, leaves may develop attractive reddish or burgundy tones. Flowers: Produces clusters of star-shaped flowers typical of the finlaysonii group.
