A member of the Finlaysonii complex, it is celebrated by collectors for its dramatic, deeply veined foliage that transforms under bright light ❤️🔥 When exposed to bright, indirect light, the leaves "sun-stress," developing stunning shades of burgundy, purplish-red, or orange. The leaves are thick, ovate, and reach up to 15cm x 9cm. They feature a striking pattern of dark green veins against a lighter green background. It produces clusters of up to 30 star-shaped flowers per umbel. These blooms are typically cream or white at the center with dark purple or red tips and release a sweet, honey-like fragrance, especially in the evening. It thrives in high humidity (above 60%) and warm temperatures between 18–30°C (65–86°F). Protect it from cold drafts, which can cause leaf drop.
