Vanilla Orchids have long thick lanceolate succulent like leaves. Each node has roots that will attach to a trellis, wall or fence as it is recommend to grow its vines in an up and down pattern to induce blooms which would eventually make the vanilla bean.
The grower that grows these uses a mix of 5050 mulch and potting soil. Vanilla orchids are both terrestrial and epiphytic so people that live in areas with low humidity may find potting soil doesn’t dry out as fast as the barksoil mix.
Here in Florida I have them planted in ground. They climb and attach to my trees and become epiphytic living off the treesfences whatever I have it vining on.
These plants are rooting in a 4” pot.

All plants are grown outside therefore leaves may show some environmental imperfections.
Our herbs and edible plant are grown organically. If there is a problem we use Neem oil spray to control insects, mites and fungus.
