Dendrobium Roy Tokunaga (atroviolaceum x johnsoniae) is a Latouria-type orchid hybrid requiring warm temperatures, medium-high light (no direct sun) high humidity, and good air circulation. Prized for long-lasting, fragrant, creamy white to soft pink flowers š heavily spotted or striped with purpleburgundy on the petals and lip. These vigorous, compact, 16-inch-tall plants bloom up to twice yearly, with flowers lasting 6ā12 weeks or more. Keep them consistently moist, but not soggy, during active summer growth, allowing them to dry slightly in winter. Repot every 2ā3 years in fine bark or moss
Dendrobium 'Roy Tokunaga' can produce keikis (or "babies" š) directly on the canes, especially if the parent plant is stressed or as part of its natural growth cycle
