Product description
The Muscipula Venus Fly Trap variety has green leaf blades with traps that are green outside and have a deep red hue inside the traps. The traps will grow to about 1.5" with the overall plant growing 4-5" tall with a spread of 6-8". We recommend placing pot in tray of water and add water to the tray as the top of moss dries out or you can use a terrariumaquarium set up. We generally replant them into their new homes using a mix of 5050 peat and perlite or sphagnum moss. If sphagnum moss is used be careful of root rot. We do not recommend the use of substrates containing fertilizers because it can burn the roots.
These plants are growing in a 4" pot.
