There are 3 different types of carnosa that go by this name, one is a heart leaved albo, another is in reference to its blooms which look like snow balls, and then there is this one which has a very interesting growth form and gets adorable round cupped leaves that make it stand out in a collection. This is one of my favorite carnosa varieties, its so simple yet striking at the same time. I love the deep dark green leaves sprinkled with stippled white dots of splash, both really compliment the round cupped leaves. This variety tends to be a slow grower, but when it does grow it happens in bursts, so it’ll push out leaves and then start vining and pushing out more leaves for little while before taking a break, during this time I always try to pamper it and encourage as much growth as possible without disturbing it. It have very stiff rigid vines so its best to train it while its growing otherwise trellising it can be a bit of a challange, I love seeing it trellised in this zig zag pattern as it really shows off the foliage and calls attention to it. Easy going just slow, which is typical of round leaved carnosa, this variety is one ill always have as part of my collection❤️
