Product description

The Vibe: The Alocasia Lauterbachiana Purple Sword is famous for her long, wavy-edged sword leaves with deep purple undersides — and in her Full Mint form, those swords come in washed almost entirely pale. These rooted pups are just unsheathing: tiny heart-and-arrow leaves in soft mint, buttery cream, and lime, some nearly white, with the green held back to a whisper. She’s a baby with big plans, and raising her from this stage means watching each new blade stretch longer and more sword-like while the mint glow settles in. A sweet, affordable way to start a genuinely rare unicorn. 🌱 Grower’s Choice: You will receive one of the two pups pictured — our grower will select a healthy, well-rooted pup for you. Each is a young start of similar size and coloring; exact leaf count and pattern will vary. 🌱 Variegation Note: Mint variegation is naturally variable — future leaves may show more or less mint and cream than pictured, and no specific pattern is guaranteed. Highly variegated leaves carry less chlorophyll, so bright indirect light helps her keep her strength. Rooted & Ready: She arrives established and rooted in a chunky, well-draining aroid mix, settled and ready for her new home. Grower’s Pro Tip: Planning to repot as she grows? We highly recommend keeping a bag of our premium aroid substrate, Root-Phoria, on hand — the exact chunky mix we trust for strong, healthy roots.
