Burle Marx is an easy to grow, tropical variety of philodendron. Their lush, dark green, shiny leaves will add a tropical touch to any corner of your house. They like moist soils, rich in organic matter. Burle Max will cascade over the edges of a pot, or can be trained to grow vertically up a stake or post. They prefer temperatures between 50 and 90 degrees and bright light, but adapt well to most light conditions. They can be grown in the garden in mild climates.

You are buying cuttings. You will receive a 5 freshly cut pieces, at least 6 inches long with leaves and nodes. They root easily in soil or water.

We only ship healthy plants and make every effort to package them securely so you will receive an intact plant, ready to acclimate to its new home. We generally ship USPS priority mail or UPS 3 day so that your plants get to you as quickly as possible. Priority mail includes $100 insurance. We are not responsible for damage that happens in transit. If your package arrives damaged, you are responsible for filing a claim with the postal service. We will assist you any way we can.

If you have any other issues with the plants you receive, please contact us at once, before leaving feedback, and we will work to resolve the issue. If plants must be returned for any reason, you are responsible for return shipping.

If the weather is extremely hot or extremely cold where you are when you order your plants, please let me know. We can delay the shipping until the weather improves.

We sell tropical plants that are used to heat and high humidity, but they cannot withstand freezing temperatures. Tropics to You cannot be responsible for plants damaged by extreme conditions while in transit. If temperatures in your area at the time of shipping are below 50 degrees at night, we recommend heat packs.
