Amount measures out as 3 (1-gallon) pots full and 2 (4" pots) full to top off the box. This comes out to 20 (4" pots)! Can be used straight or mixed in with soils, or used as a top dressing. (I use 70% pumice and 30% cactus potting soil for most of my plants, and more organic matter for bonsai trees) 🌱💚
