Good light supports vigorous growth and keeps the venation crisp and defined. Avoid direct sun, which will scorch the delicate leaf margins. An east- or north-facing window, or a spot set back from a brighter exposure, is ideal. Water Water when the top inch of soil is dry — alocasias prefer consistent moisture but are highly susceptible to root rot if overwatered.
