This beautiful plant is a concoction of Bob Beer, given an “old lady name” due to how the flower resembles a traditional pansy. The heritage is uncertain, though the mother plant was Pinguicula agnata Red Leaf. You'll get a similar plant to the ones in the picture. Pictures are representative only, you will NOT get the same plant - you will be getting a smallstarter ping. Please note that some plants are greener than others but will turn pinkreddish with time under intense light. The plants are shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect the plants.
The plants are between 0.5 to 0.75" in diameter.
P. “Mehitable” presents a large, ruffled, purple flower with a yellow throat and white spots that highlight the flowers purple veins. Its leaves blush well under high light and have an ovular shape.
