These reservoirs hold a surprisingly generous amount of water; often enough to keep plants hydrated for a week or longer, depending on conditions. They’re an excellent option for a variety of hoyas (I have most of mine in this setup!), & cut down on watering chores immensely, being especially helpful for busy schedules or for maintaining stable hydration during travel.
Because the reservoir is larger than standard self‑watering cups, plants may need an extra dry period while acclimating. Please ensure plants receive adequate light to minimize the risk of rot, & allow both the wick & reservoir to dry out completely before refilling. For best results, remove the nursery pot & refill the reservoir from the bottom only; no top watering.
