Water when the top 2 inches of soil feel dry, soaking thoroughly and letting excess drain—avoid soggy roots or bone-dry soil.
Needs bright, indirect light to develop leaf splits; thrives in 65–85°F temperatures and dislikes cold drafts.
Mildly toxic to pets if ingested.
Use a chunky, well-draining mix with bark and perlite; feed every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer with a balanced, diluted fertilizer.
