Product description

This is a fresh cut in a moss cup. The Philodendron 'Texas Jose Buono' is a rare, historically significant, and variegated climbing philodendron with thick, creamy-yellow and green variegated leaves that do not easily fade. Originating from a 1960s Texan nursery, it is sought after for its stable variegation and rigid, elongated foliage. It thrives in bright, indirect light and well-draining soil.

Key Characteristics and Care:

Variegation: Unlike the standard Jose Buono (whitecream), the Texas variety displays distinct, stable, and often more intense creamy-yellow variegation.

Leaves: Thicker, more rigid foliage that maintains a defined, long shape.

Care: Thrives in bright, filtered light (can burn in direct sun) with moderate to high humidity.

Watering: Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent rot.

Size: Can grow 3-4 feet tall, climbing 24-inch leaves, and prefers to climb a stake or trellis.
