Product description

Stunning Danburite Crystal from San Luis Potosi Mexico. Measures 2” x 1.5” and weighs 62 grams (0.135 lbs) without the plate. Comes on a black obsidian display plate.

This stunning Danburite crystal is a mineral made of calcium boron silicate. It grows into small prismatic crystals, much like topaz. This crystal resembles quartz in look. Yet quartz forms sharp pointed pyramids, while danburite shows a blunted wedge shape and proves a bit harder. An exceptional piece, you will find a layer of quartz drusy that covers its surface. And, you may even find rainbows!

This specimen contains calcite inclusions, which make it UV-reactive.

Disclaimer: Please note that this natural crystal is sold in its current condition, as shown in the images and video. Each piece is unique and may exhibit natural imperfections that add to its character and charm. Before making a purchase, we encourage you to review the sizing and description carefully to ensure it meets your expectations. Danburite Crystal from San Luis Potosi Mexico.
