- If a payment is received after 9:00 AM PST Friday we may ship the item the following Monday.
- We use USPS and UPS to ship product orders. If you prefer FedEx I can edit the listing for you.
Shipping time is based on the option you choose. USPS and UPs priority takes approximately 3-5 days to deliver. This is the most affordable way to ship these plants. We suggest you file a claim if your plant takes too long to be delivered.
I am a small business but pride myself in the care of my own plants and the division of my plants I choose to sale.
Plants suffer show when removed from their media and travel. I cannot control this. if this is something you cannot or work with. I am simply not the vendor for you.
In orchid gardens all over the world, except for a small number of bare-root cultures, most orchids are planted in media such as sphagnum moss. During the export process, removing the original sphagnum moss will cause the root system to break and produce new wounds, and the wounds have the chance of infection and expansion. Although we only use air freight, the consignment time is strictly controlled within 24-36 hours, and the plants are in the package within 5 days, but for some orchid types, such as Phalaenopsis and Cattleya, and some sensitive varieties. This process is enough to damage the root system. In fact, orchids are relatively strong plants. After some root systems are damaged, through correct methods and procedures, orchids can adapt to the new environment and grow new roots.
For newly imported plants with poor root systems, here are some of our suggested treatment procedures:
1. Remove the bad root system, and let the root system dry for a while to help the wound heal;
2. Cultivate plants on planting materials with moist beds, and spray water every morning and evening to keep the surface moist;
3. Most plants can quickly grow new roots.
At the same time, we would like to emphasize a few points:
1. Please fully understand the relevant situation of import reservation plants. And have basic knowledge of orchid care, and do related care for newly arrived plants.
2. If you do not have a lot of experience, please do not place an order for Small Size plant or new import. This way neither you or I will suffer loss.
