Do you love the look of the Hoya Compacta Rope plant but want something that grows just a smidge faster than a glacial ice-cap? Look no further than the Aeschynanthus Radicans, affectionately nicknamed the Curly Lipstick Plant. The nickname comes from this plants scarlet flowers that open from buds that resemble lipstick tubes. I have no flowered mine yet as this was a relatively recent acquisition. This plant does have relatively quick growth and would benefit from frequent chopping and propping to promote more off-shoots(picture 2). Comes in my chunky Bronte's mix and a self-watering pot.
