Alocasia Dragon Scale Mint Variegated is among the rarest Alocasias in existence. The standard Dragon Scale is already a sought-after collector's plant for its deeply ridged, dragon-scale-patterned leaves with silvery-green coloring and dark veins—but the mint variegated form adds irregular pale mint-green to white variegation on top of this already spectacular foliage.
LIGHT: Bright indirect light is essential. Variegated tissue is more photosensitive—protect from direct sun while ensuring ample bright light for chlorophyll production.
WATER: Keep soil evenly moist during active growth. Use a well-draining chunky aroid mix. Do not allow to dry out completely.
HUMIDITY: High humidity (65–85%) is critical. Use a humidifier and consider a greenhouse cabinet or grow tent for best results.
FERTILIZER: Half-strength balanced fertilizer every 2–4 weeks in springsummer. Do not fertilize for 4–6 weeks after arrival.
TEMPERATURE: 68–86°F. Warmth is particularly important for this tropical rarity.
TOXICITY: Toxic to humans, cats, and dogs.
HOW OUR SHIPPING WORKS We ship all live plants with custom packing, insulation, and lots of cushioning so they arrive in the best condition possible. Shipping rates are based on the packed weight of your order (plants + soil + pot + box + insulation). This helps us cover the real cost of getting breakable, living things safely to you.
In cold weather, we strongly recommend adding a Heat Pack add-on for each shipment. Heat packs are priced separately and add additional weight to your box.
SHIPPING NOTE: Shipping includes wrapping and insulation. Heat packs are not included by default—please add a Heat Pack add-on to your cart for cold-weather shipping.
Shipping Days are Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend and holiday delays.
