Begonia ningmingensis var. bella dwells in the cliffs and crevices of the limestone regions of China. Leaves are round, textured and quite showy. They are dark green to black, sometimes with a purple hue. The dark color is offset by the shimmery silver-green veins and a striking scarlet reverse. This is a low profile begonia that grows in mounds close to the soil. Like many begonias it will thrive in dappled light conditions and high humidity, but it will not tolerate soggy soil. A terrarium or greenhouse is highly recommended for cultivation.

Shade to partial shade, temp. 45 to 95 degrees, 5 to 10 in. tall. Allow surface of soil to dry between waterings. Humidity over 60%!
I pack my plants with the utmost care but it is still possible that minor cosmetic damage may happen during shipping. Ripped leaves, snapped stems or yellowdropped leaves and wilting are all possible but rare. Those damages do not affect the health of the plant, the root system will replace any damaged leaves in no time. I do not give refunds for minor damage.
