Product description

Lightly Rooted ✨️ 2 - 3 Leaves 🌱 Begonia Jiewhoei 💚🦄 also known as Jiew-Hoe's Begonia, is a rare and striking cane-like species. It is highly prized by collectors for its emerald green, asymmetrical leaves adorned with prominent white or silver oval spots and a deep red underside. Native to the limestone cliffs of Peninsular Malaysia, it is currently classified as critically endangered in the wild.

Produces clusters of small, delicate white to light pink blooms & can grow 15 to 18 inches tall ~ can be trained to climb a support, trail on the ground, or hang from a basket.

Endemic to the Kelantan region of Malaysia, where it grows on vertical limestone banks

Because of its tropical origin, this begonia is most successful in terrariums or humid greenhouses. Prefers bright, indirect light. Low light may cause it to "stretch" or become leggy, but it can be pruned to maintain a compact shape.

Requires high humidity, ideally between 70% and 90%.Thrives in temperatures between 55°F and 95°F (13°C–35°C).
