A striking Old World species from South Africa, the Dictator Baboon sports a bold black and bronze coloration with faint striping on the legs. Though often reclusive, it is a heavy Webber and an impressive display species when it emerges.
Like many baboons, this is a defensive and fast-moving tarantulaβbest suited for experienced keepers. It prefers a dry setup with a deep substrate to burrow and web.
