The Super Fire (Super HypoLeucistic) Crested Gecko is an emerging genetic line that is already establishing itself as one of the most promising morph developments in the species so far. Defined by its clean, white, translucent base, soft blue eye shading, and deep black eyes with striking red pupils (zoom in on the third picture to see this!), it presents an unmistakable and refined appearance that sets it apart. Originating from the HypoFire gene, this morph follows a pattern of inheritance comparable to that seen in other reptiles such as ball pythons and boa constrictors.
While still early in it’s development, this line holds significant potential as projects continue to evolve. We’re proud to be working with it at this stage alongside respected breeders in both the United States and South Korea, helping contribute to its future direction. For keepers focused on genetics, long term vision, and working with standout animals before they become widely established, this is the kind of gecko that defines and anchors a serious collection.

Genetics Explained:
The hypofire (leucistic) gene in crested geckos is an incomplete dominant mutation, meaning that only a single copy of the gene (heterozygous) produces a visually distinct animal. This positions the Super Fire as a highly valuable genetic trait, with every hatchling having the potential to inherit the Fire gene and maintain the potential to create more Super Fires when paired strategically

Super FireHypo × FireHypo = 50% Super FireHypo, 50% FireHypo
