Welcome to The Finer Houseplant. I’m Jake, importer of rare and exotic aroids from Indonesia and creator of original in-house 3D printed Moss Poles to support the plants. I’m proud to present this Anthurium Moodeanum established in a 7-inch container, rooted in premium sphagnum moss and perlite.

Anthurium Moodeanum is a rare collector Anthurium admired for its deeply textured foliage, dark coloration, and stunning red emergent growth. New leaves emerge in rich shades of burgundy, chocolate-red, and bronze before gradually maturing into deep green foliage with a glossy, leathery finish. Unlike many of the velvet Anthuriums, Moodeanum develops thick, durable leaves with pronounced texture and an almost sculptural appearance, giving it a bold presence in any collection. As the plant matures, the foliage becomes increasingly impressive, developing larger heart-shaped leaves and the dramatic coloration that has made this species a favorite among serious Anthurium collectors.
