Please read our shop guidelines before placing an order so you know what to expect when purchasing live plants, tissue cultures, corms, and other botanical goodies. 📦 Shipping * Shipping day is Monday. Orders are prepared and shipped on Mondays unless otherwise stated. * Orders placed after the weekly shipping cutoff may ship the following Monday. * Please make sure your shipping address is correct before completing your purchase. * Once a package has been handed over to the carrier, shipping delays are outside of Destined Roots Botanica’s control. * Please monitor your tracking information and retrieve your package promptly after delivery. 🌱 Live Plant Policy Plants are living organisms and each plant is unique. Minor variations in size, color, leaf shape, blemishes, or growth are normal. Plants may experience some stress during shipping, including drooping, yellowing, leaf damage, or temporary loss of leaves. This does not necessarily mean the plant is unhealthy. Photos represent the plant or the general quality you can expect. Unless specifically stated, plants may not be the exact plant pictured. 🧪 Tissue Cultures & Acclimation Tissue culture plants require special care after arrival. * Tissue cultures are shipped in their designated containers unless otherwise stated. * Some plants may arrive with minor browning, melting, or stress. * Acclimation is the buyer’s responsibility after delivery. * Destined Roots Botanica is not responsible for losses resulting from improper acclimation, watering, lighting, humidity, temperature, or handling after delivery. * Please research the specific plant’s acclimation requirements before purchasing. 🌰 Corms, Bulbs & Dormant Material Corms, bulbs, and other dormant plant material are living organisms and may take time to activate. * Growth time varies from plant to plant. * Some corms may remain dormant for an extended period. * Buyers should not expect immediate sprouting. * Proper warmth, moisture, humidity, and growing conditions are essential. ❄️☀️ Weather Extreme temperatures can be dangerous for live plants. Please consider your local weather conditions before ordering. If temperatures are extremely hot or cold, contact us before purchasing so we can discuss the best shipping option. Once a package is shipped, weather-related damage caused by conditions outside of our control is not the responsibility of Destined Roots Botanica. 📸 DOA / Damaged Plants If your plant arrives severely damaged or deceased, please contact us as soon as possible. * Take clear photos and/or video of the package, shipping label, packaging, and plant immediately upon opening. * Keep all original packaging until the issue has been resolved. * DOA claims must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery. * Claims without sufficient photo/video evidence may not be eligible for replacement or refund. * Damage caused by delayed pickup, improper handling, temperature exposure after delivery, or improper care is not covered. 💰 Cancellations & Refunds Please review your order carefully before purchasing. Because we sell live plants and plant material, cancellations may not be possible once an order has entered the packing or shipping process. Refunds, replacements, or other resolutions are handled on a case-by-case basis according to the circumstances of the order. 📦 Lost or Delayed Packages Once an order has been shipped, the carrier is responsible for delivery. If tracking shows that a package is delayed, please contact the carrier first. Destined Roots Botanica will do our best to assist when possible, but we cannot guarantee delivery dates once a package is in the carrier’s possession. 💚 Buyer Responsibility By purchasing from Destined Roots Botanica, you agree to: * Read the listing and care requirements before purchasing. * Provide an accurate shipping address. * Be available to receive your package promptly. * Understand that plants are living organisms and may experience shipping stress. * Follow appropriate care and acclimation instructions. * Contact us promptly if there is an issue with your order. 🌿 Thank You!
