Because live plants are living items, all sales are final. Please let me know if you would like to ship UPS 3 day. I will accommodate to whatever your preference is. All shipping upgrades are available in the shop if you’d like to speed things up or add extra protection for your plant. 🌿💚 🌡️ WEATHER SHIPPING UPGRADES 🌡️ We want your plants to have the safest trip possible! 🌿📦 During hot summer months and cold winter months, extreme temperatures can put live plants at risk while they’re in transit. Please check the weather both where your plants are shipping from and at their destination and choose the appropriate weather protection when needed. Insulation, heat packs, ice packs, and expedited shipping options are available as upgrades in our shop. Weather-related damage can happen even with careful packing, so the buyer is responsible for selecting the proper weather and/or shipping upgrades for their conditions. When temperatures are extreme, we strongly recommend adding the appropriate protection or upgrading to faster shipping. 🌿 Please make sure the proper upgrades are added from the shop BEFORE your box ships! This fee helps cover the time, materials, preparation, and handling involved in processing an order and preparing live plants for shipment. Please keep in mind: • Plants may experience minor stress during shipping, including yellowing, leaf drop, or temporary wilting. This is normal and they typically recover with proper care. • Photos represent the exact plant or a representative example unless otherwise noted. Please review all photos and details before purchasing. • Natural variations in leaf shape, size, color, and variegation are part of what makes each plant unique. • We are not responsible for delays, weather-related issues, improper care after delivery, or conditions caused by the buyer’s environment. • Please inspect your package upon arrival and contact us within 24 hours if there is a serious issue with your order. Include clear photos and a description so we can better understand the situation. Our goal is to keep our plants healthy while reducing the need for harsh chemical pesticides. 🌿 What you may encounter: Some plants may have beneficial insects or mites present when they arrive. These tiny helpers are intentionally used to manage unwanted pests such as thrips, fungus gnats, aphids, and other plant pests. 🕷️ Don't panic if you see a bug! Not every bug is a bad bug! You may occasionally notice a tiny insect or mite on your plant, in the soil, or around the packaging. These may be beneficials doing their job. 📦 Shipping & beneficials: Because beneficial insects and mites are living organisms, their presence and activity may vary during shipping. Bearded Roots cannot guarantee that beneficial populations will remain active or present after delivery. 🧪 Please use caution with pesticides: If you receive a plant containing beneficials, avoid immediately treating it with broad-spectrum insecticides, as these products may harm or kill the beneficial organisms. 💚 Our goal: We believe in growing and shipping healthy plants using an integrated approach that combines good plant care, prevention, monitoring, and beneficial organisms whenever possible.
