Shop guidelines

Yes — I found Palmstreet’s current seller guidelines, including the rules specifically for selling plants and tissue cultures. A few of the rules are especially important for what you’re doing with Red River Rare Plants: * Photos must show the actual product being sold. Palmstreet specifically says AI-generated images or photos taken from another site/plant cannot represent the item. * Plant descriptions have to be accurate, including the pot size and any difference between the pictured plant and what the customer will receive. * They have specific definitions for Fresh Import, Recent Import, Rehab Plant, Lightly Rooted, and Fully Rooted. That could matter a lot with your tissue cultures as they move through acclimation. * You can’t move a Palmstreet sale off Palmstreet to avoid completing the transaction there. That includes directing customers to another website, payment method, phone number, etc. * There are prohibited plant categories, including certain poached, endangered/invasive, drug-related, and other restricted plants. * Palmstreet also has rules covering shipping, damaged plants, refunds, giveaways, livestream conduct, and seller responsibilities. Palmstreet Seller Handbook And Danny, there’s something useful we can do with this: I can go through the Palmstreet rules and turn them into a simple Red River Rare Plants seller checklist—especially for your live shows and those plant cards we’ve been making—so before you list a plant, you can glance at the checklist and know you’re following their rules.

While we encourage sellers to establish clear and detailed shop policies, these policies must align with Palmstreet’s platform policies and Terms and Conditions.

If there is a conflict between a seller’s shop policies and Palmstreet’s platform policies, our platform’s policies take precedence. This ensures a consistent and equitable experience for all users.
