🌿 Rockaway Botanica – Shop Policies 1. Processing Time • Order Fulfillment: Orders are typically processed within 7 business days. Please note that processing may take longer during peak seasons or holidays. • Shipping Schedule: Most orders ship Monday through Wednesday. Orders placed after 5 PM Monday typically ship the following Monday to prevent weekend courier delays. • Order Confirmation & Tracking: You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is placed and a tracking link when it’s shipped. • Note: Processing times may vary for U.S. territories, Alaska, Hawaii, and international locations. ⸻ 2. Shipping Methods We ship live plants via UPS or USPS depending on your location. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on package size, weight, and destination. • Standard/Ground Shipping (3–7 business days): Best for hardy plants and temperate weather. • Expedited Shipping (1–3 business days): Recommended for sensitive, high-value plants or during extreme temperatures. ⸻ 3. Cancellations, Exchanges, and Refunds • We do not offer exchanges or refunds. • Orders may be canceled within 24 hours, after which cancellations are subject to a 10% restocking fee. ⸻ 4. Packing Methods • Each plant is carefully packaged with protective materials to minimize damage during transit. • Large Plants/Pots: Items over 8 inches in diameter may be shipped without pots due to shipping constraints. • Weather Precautions: We monitor weather at both the origin and destination and may delay shipping to avoid extreme conditions. ⸻ 5. U.S. Shipping Policy • We ship to all 50 states and U.S. territories. • Unfortunately, we cannot ship to PO Boxes due to transit limitations and courier restrictions. ⸻ 6. Local Delivery • Local orders will be delivered within 7 days. • Orders not received/picked up within this window will be canceled and subject to a 10% restocking fee. ⸻ 7. Receiving Your Plants • Please be available to receive and unpack your plants immediately upon arrival. • Carefully inspect each plant and allow it to acclimate for several weeks before repotting. ⸻ 8. Shipping, Delays & Damage Policy Live Arrival Guarantee Want your new babies to arrive happy and healthy? Here's what you need to do: Orders under $200 must be upgraded to at least 2 day Shipping to guarantee live arrival, however Overnight is strongly recommended! Orders over $200 must be overnighted to guarantee live arrival! Once Your Plant Leaves My Hands... I cannot control what happens. I am not responsible for losses, delays, damage, theft, or tragic UPS mishaps. Please choose your shipping wisely! No Refunds, Returns, or Exchanges If I make a mistake (hey, I'm human!), l'll absolutely make it right. Just send me an unboxing video within 2 hours of delivery showing any issues. No video = no resolution. DON'T MAKE IT WEIRD! All Sales Are Final - Choose Wisely! Be SURE before you bid or buy! If life happens and you need to cancel, let me know ASAP. A 25% restocking fee will apply before the order can be canceled. *this applies to all cancellations: dog paws, cat tails, shower swipe, kid fingers, etc.* PLEASE NOTE - Plants grown in close tent or cabinet conditions and may have cosmetic damage on leaves due to brushing against each other. It is our mission to be as transparent as possible always. If you need us to hold your plant, not a problem. • Lost/Delayed Packages: We will assist in tracking and resolving issues with the courier.
