Plant & Animal Information • Every plant, isopod, and springtail culture is inspected before shipping and is healthy to the best of our knowledge. • We only ship when weather conditions are considered safe for live arrival. • Buyers are responsible for understanding and complying with any local laws regarding live plants or invertebrates. • Please verify your shipping address before placing your order. Lost Woods Plant Nursery is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect addresses. Shipping Policy • Shipping Days: Orders typically ship on Tuesday and Wednesday. • Shipping holds are available upon request. • We may postpone shipping during unsafe weather conditions to protect the health of your plants and animals. Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) Our Live Arrival Guarantee applies when: • Someone is available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. • Temperatures are within safe shipping ranges. • Any requested Hold for Pickup instructions are followed. • Carrier delays or other circumstances beyond our control may affect guarantee eligibility. DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy While uncommon, if an animal arrives deceased: Contact us within 2 hours of the recorded delivery time. Provide clear photos and/or video of the unopened package and the specimen. We will review the claim and work with you on an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, store credit, or refund. Please note: Orders that do not meet the requirements of our Live Arrival Guarantee may not qualify for DOA coverage. Plant Expectations • Photos are representative of the item you will receive unless the listing is marked "Exact Plant" or "WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get)." • Because plants are living organisms, natural variations in size, color, shape, and variegation should be expected. • Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the health of the plant are normal and are not considered defects.
