Avoid intense afternoon sun to prevent scorching. 💧Water: Water thoroughly when soil is completely dry. Reduce watering in fall/winter. Avoid letting the plant sit in water. 🪴Soil: Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix. 🌡️Temperature: Prefers 65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect from frost. 🌱Fertilizer: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a diluted cactus fertilizer. 🪴Potting: Repot every 2–3 years or when rootbound. Choose pots with drainage holes. 🗒️Notes: Gymnocalycium are slow growers and can produce beautiful flowers in the right conditions. ‼️Cacti may experience transplant shock from shipping and/or potting, making them slightly soft. Give them a little TLC by removing from the soil to dry out for a couple days or moving to a dryer and brighter spot!
