Today, we are thrilled to officially announce that Palmstreet has raised a total of $25 million, from lead investors a16z, Craft Ventures, and Headline, alongside an incredible group of early-stage investors who share our belief in the future of live shopping and our vision for Palmstreet.
From the start, Palmstreet has always been centered on personal, human connections—an appreciation for rarities and care for the people and things in our lives. What began in 2020 with rare plants has blossomed into a vibrant community spanning handmade crafts, crystals, reptiles, and more. Palmstreet has become a home for talented creators, visionaries, tinkerers, & tastemakers—a space where people can show up as their authentic selves, share their passions, and build thriving businesses. This is the magic of Palmstreet.
A few months ago, we celebrated a huge milestone—growing to over 1 million members—and every step of the way, you’ve been at our core. You’ve tuned into live shows, hosted live shows, collected special pieces, and shared thoughtful feedback that helps us build a better platform. All are welcome here, because, as we’ve said before, Palmstreet is for everyone.
Fueled by this ever-growing community, our team has worked relentlessly to push the boundaries of live shopping. We’ve seen our community’s sales grow 5x over the past 12 months—a phenomenal achievement in this space—but we know this is just the beginning. Palmstreet is a reflection of the shift in how people want to shop. After decades of mass-produced goods, shoppers like ours crave novelty, personalization, and that special, one-of-a-kind find—like strolling down a vibrant Main Street lined with unique storefronts.
Live shopping on Palmstreet brings this nostalgic experience online. It allows sellers to build meaningful relationships with customers, just as they would face-to-face. Many of our sellers have seen their revenue triple through Palmstreet, with some even taking the leap to leave their corporate jobs and pursue their businesses full-time.
